SUNDAY, after work, estelle asked me to join her and the usuals for zw's birthday. last minute again!!! i think she just want me to appear lupsup in all our photos hahaha. nabei.

cabbed to mhd sultan road for "chikuwa tei". what's with all the jap restaurants name ending with "tei"? hahahaha. wasabi tei and now chikuwa tei. actually i haven't heard of this before but hmm the salmon sashimi is the bombz! damn fat and fresh. sorry no pics because, ain't nobody got time fo dat!

can't decide what to eat so anyhow ordered this unagi don. quite nice! but unagi eat a while will scared one. so i ate only 1 piece? which was actually quite big alr. 

shared and koped some of their beef also. yumz.

wanted to try hot sake so badly so i ordered!! and we all shared. hahaha seb and zw complain not nice but  estelle justin and me ok with it. you just have to gulp it down! sipping it won't taste nice. hehehhee. 

happy birthday zhang wei! last year we also celebrated his birthday at zouk. so fast one year alr!! 

walked to boat quay to look for a place to chill. settled at barraka.

and then i decided to learn how to light a lighter. until my hand damn pain. i never knew how to because i just kept sliding the round thing you know?? i didn't know have to press down!! wtfffffff. 

tadah!!!!!! TIL! hahahhahahaa. but thumb still damn pain tsk. congrats to all my friends i can finally light your birthday cakes for you! still rmb bf's 21st birthday we were alone in the chalet and he had to light for himself. LOL. wah rao idk ma. hahahhaha.

then we decided to head home because it's a sunday (actually to me it felt like a friday) then somewhere on the way back (justin sent us home) someone mentioned going to sembawang beach to chill. so we stopped at este's place and get her car. and get some drinks. and chips. lol!!!!!!

november 8 cafe.

 huay kwang mookata with colleagues on wednesday! 

went home at 12.30am, painted my nails and use com before sleeping at 5.30am. :x

 bought new purple polish (because i thought i didn't have purple) but turned out too dull. made my hands look so tanned. (photo slightly edited) so i added the triangles to kinda brighten it up? shall play with more shapes next time. 

supposed to meet sylvia yesterday but she wasn't feeling well! :(

randomly asked alex whether he was free and yes! went to november 8 cafe at thomson to check it out. the place is so colourful! i like! although the air con wasn't cold..... but i like the waffles. D:

iced mocha because i'm so hot. hahaha.

the guy came and changed the flower because the previous one "chui liao". haha funny and friendly service. 

supposedly ugly pipes turned cute in my favourite bright colours!

wheeler's yard.

went to a random cafe today to explore with sylvia beai! but before we reached our destination, it was quite... eventful. (is it still called "eventful" if it's actually only 1 incident? hahaha)

was supposed to meet her at amk, then cab to wheeler's yard but ended up alighting at khatib, then took a cab to pick her up from her place. that's where my cabby got unlucky.

he didn't notice this car turning cutting in from the right, so he banged the car. we felt so bad!!! 

 sat in the car not knowing what to do, for 5-10 minutes? until the cabby tried to reverse and leave, then realised he coudn't reverse. so we had to alight and get another cab. gave the cabby $20 instead of the $6 fare (like it helps...... but we just felt so bad! lol)

luckily another cab came along if not we're gonna melt in the next minute. 

so excited to try out this cafe! but the cashier said we had to wait about 30-45 minutes for our food. bo bian. but in the end the food only came after 1 whole hour.

 after 1 hour. this is sylvia's pathetic big breakfast. so disappointing really. 1 hour? for this? reallyyyyyyy?

after 1 hour 10 minutes i got my salmon. this was not bad. but still!! 

 preetz date. heh heh.

 went to JB yesterday with parents. tried this Tea Garden at KSL. they have fried lsb! but not very nice. the bun is nice, like mantou. but the egg is more custardy than eggy. boo. 

 met element afters. dined at nana's green tea!! fave! tried this new mentaiko sauce seafood udon. yummerzzzzz. his was this cheez hamburg in curry sauce. i like the cheezzzzz. 

 salmon avocado cheese roll. drizzled with wasabi mayo zzzzz i hate wasabi!!

 menthol was supposed to join but zzzzzzz. 

but lychee kirin! faveeeeee.

trying to go out without make up recently and hmmmmmm i can do it!! haha. eyebags not bothering me that much lately. either because i'm used to it or they're better now?? idk. hehe.

caught the last bus home and decided to walk instead of cabbing upon reaching sembawang. got the feel!
